About Helliemae's Caramels

Helliemae's Caramels mean retro treats with a twist. We think Helliemae is Rosie the Riveter's best friend, a sassy 1940s broad who spends time canning produce from her victory garden after her shift at the munitions factory with her pal. Our caramels and sauces are all about nostalgia, amped up with great ingredients. Vintage-inspired packaging continues the theme, with saturated colors and wood grain that are reminiscent of milk paint on a barn wall.

The best caramel is creamy and fresh. Our small team makes our products at the Helliemae's production kitchen, a 1950s service station we renovated ourselves. We package all our candies on equipment built during that same decade in France - it's cranky, gorgeous, and allows us to make little treats wrapped in cellophane, perfect for popping in your mouth.

From our most popular caramels and sauces - Sea Salt and Whiskey Love Bomb - to our seasonal favorites, like Harvest Apple Spice, we use the best ingredients we can find from the best vendors, making delicious, shareable treats.
